Henry speaks to a group of home inspectors

On 8/6/2019 I was given the opportunity to speak to a group of ASHI home inspectors. It also happened to be my 50th birthday and honestly, I could not have asked for a better gift than the opportunity to educate more people in the industry. They were a very good group and asked the right kinds of questions, it was a nice discussion and I hope to have the chance to do it again. As a matter of fact, I am more than happy to come and speak about roofing to any group of interested people. The more people "in the know" the better, since the more educated and informed the consumer base is the better the roofing industry will become. So if you have any need for someone to come out and speak about roofing, hiring a contractor, working with a contractor, etc. Call me and let's make it happen.

What kinds of things can we present?

  • Different roof systems
  • Specifications and standards
  • The ROC and what they do
  • How to vet a contractor
  • What to expect on any given roof job
  • And more

In this meeting, we talked about foam roofing and coating, and specifically the difference between the minimum standard dry film thickness at application, and the minimum allowable dry film thickness before it is time to re-coat. Unfortunately, many roofers confuse the two and owners end up with a roof that is already in need of a re-coat.

Call me and lets set up something with your group (480) 265-1613
